Thirty years after the release of Surgery for Zebra, the Belgian band Metal Molly is now releasing their debut album on vinyl for the first time, an excellent reason to add a few more (final?) performances. Back in the day, their song Orange was a real hit, leading to a significant breakthrough with performances at Werchter, Pinkpop, and Lowlands. They also opened for artists such as David Bowie, Therapy?, and Bush.

After having played at Vera in 1995 and 1996, Metal Molly decided to call it quits in 1997, and again in 2000. Now, many years later, they feel the itch to perform again and are excited about getting back on stage, with plans for new music!

The offbeat indie rock trio HISTER is the support act tonight. The band combines drums and bass with lyrics in Gronings and writes songs that are both catchy and light-hearted as well as slow, heavy, and dreamy. It’s like slowcore meets indie pop. Doomgaze meets pop rock.
